Invested in Industry Education
We’ve invested in industry education since the beginning. Our founding partners represent Charleston’s first generation of Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM). Only about 6% of the approximately 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide presently hold CCIM designation, which requires professionals to complete graduate-level coursework and a portfolio of large commercial transactions. Eight of our brokers hold CCIM designation and partner Jay Keenan has taught as a Senior Instructor for the CCIM Institute for over 30 years.
Proven Results
The breadth and depth of our real estate success is derived from the over 200 hundred years of combined experience working in Charleston and the Southeast region. Since the firms founding, we have completed over 1,000 sale and lease transactions with a combined value in excess of $800 million. Additionally we have developed various different types of property including high end boutique hotels and storage centers.Palmetto Commercial Properties, LLC has also consulted on large corporate real estate decisions.The knowledge and experience gained from these projects and many others continue to help on all our endeavors to this day.

After many successful years on their own, the five founding partners established Palmetto Commercial Properties in 1996.
