The Cigar Factory in Charleston is set to change hands and restart development

The unfinished Cigar Factory in downtown Charleston is under contract to be sold to another Atlanta developer and converted into commercial space. The building originally was going to be converted into residential condos, but the project stalled when the bank who was financing the redevelopment failed. The new plan calls for the building to be a mix of retail and office space.
